Ultrasonic Gin

£37.00£199.80

Inspired by the flight of native bats through the British countryside this bold gin uses a unique ultrasonic process and pot distillation to extract flavour and aroma from juniper, angelica root, elderflower, coriander seed, roasted barley, Bramley apple and mint. This small batch innovative gin has been created as part of our ongoing fundraising collaboration with Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust. As with Campfire Special Edition No 1 Himalayan Balsam Gin £2 from the sale of each bottle goes to the Trust. 50cl, 41% ABV.

Description

“Summery but pleasingly hearty – it’s like being sat in a country pub garden on a sunny day with an elderflower pressé and an apple crumble!” Paul Jackson, The Gin Guide

Earthy juniper leads to the sweeter profile of elderflower and roasted barley. The fresh light finish carries notes of apple and mint.

The dominant juniper forward profile and deliberate omission of a strong citrus botanical allows you, the consumer, to shape this gin to suit your palate. Our choice is over ice with Franklin & Sons Indian tonic and some slices of apple. We’d also recommend trying it with lime, strawberries and orange peel or why not freeze a few cubes of watermelon and throw them in. Of course it makes an awesome martini too!

Packaging

Our 50cl and 70cl bottles are made from 40% recycled glass and do not have a big plug of glass in the base. Less glass equates to a reduced carbon footprint during production, transit and recycling, which we all know is a very good thing.

The Ultrasonic Gin label is made from cherry wood veneer.

Postage packaging for our 70cl, 50cl and 10cl bottles, gift packs and gift sets is cardboard and paper. Packing chips are made from corn starch and are soluble in water.

The anti-tamper seal on Ultrasonic Gin is compostable plastic.
