COCKTAIL RECIPES

Campfire Navy Strength Gin cocktail recipes pair this cocktail spirit with cream, ginger syrup, fresh ginger and mint. If you’re a fan of gin and fruit cocktails then the classic Greyhound is an excellent choice combining gin and grapefruit or blackberry liqueur in the Autumn Spice Bramble and apple juice with orange bitters in the Red Admiral. The original Pink Gin is Navy Strength gin and Angostura bitters but our Pink Campfire pairs gin with Aromatic tonic where flavour and colour comes from Angostura bark.

Campfire Navy Strength Gin Red Admiral cocktail recipe

RED ADMIRAL

History
Created specially for one of our dining at the distillery events, this bold cocktail works on it’s own and really well when paired with red meats as an alternative to a red wine. For a bit of theatre and to really separate out the port from the apple juice/gin mix, use a syringe or pipette to inject it into the bottom of the glass.

Ingredients
25ml Campfire Navy Strength Gin
20ml Ruby port
50ml Apple juice, clear
Dash of orange bitters
Thin slice of fresh ginger to garnish

Preparation
Shake some ice cubes, the gin, apple juice and the bitters vigorously in a cocktail shaker and strain into chilled martini glasses. Pour the port gently down the side of the glass so it sinks beneath the gin and bitters. Add the ginger slice.
