CAMPFIRE NAVY STRENGTH GIN, 57%
“A classic juniper and citrus driven nose. It is dry and majestic with a great balance between alcoholic sweetness and zesty quality.” Judges comments, International Wine & Spirits Competition
Whilst the botanicals remain anchored to that of Campfire London Dry Gin, we have tweaked the recipe for Campfire Navy Strength Gin and raised the alcohol content to bring you a bigger, bolder expression. The perfect storm… in a bottle.
With a greater emphasis on the juniper profile and a higher botanical loading to offset the 57% strength, this gin can only be described as surprisingly smooth. Whilst the gin has a high ABV, a single 25ml measure of Campfire Navy Strength Gin and a 200ml bottle of tonic plus ice dilution brings the ABV of the G&T to between 5 and 6%. Strong but not as strong as a glass of wine!
*Because this is a distilled gin the nut allergens are not present.

A double measure of Campfire Navy Strength Gin over ice with 100ml of Fever-Tree Aromatic or Mediterranean tonic water makes a proper G&T with caramalised fruit and peppery notes. Brûlée a slice of sugar coated grapefruit for garnish.
Our favourite Campfire Navy Strength Gin cocktail is a Red Admiral – ruby port, apple juice, orange bitters and Campfire Navy Strength. It's one to savour.
Belonging to the category of Sour cocktails the Southside is the gin version of a Mojito.
Another old classic is the Greyhound cocktail – Campfire Navy Strength Gin and pink grapefruit juice. If the Greyhound is a little sharp for your tastebuds add a saline solution to create a Wet Salty Dog.
You might not think of serving a Navy Strength gin as a dessert but a Melbourne Mess is a perfect replacement for an after dinner treat. It's a combination of a Ramos Gin Fizz and strawberry pavlova!
