The PUD PUD range of gins are primarily our Christmas gins but there’s the occasional special summer release like PUD PUD Cacao Gin. If you’ve been gifted a bottle of PUD PUD Cherry Gin or treated yourself to a bottle here’s some of our favourite gin cocktails for you to enjoy.
CHERRY GIN SOUR
History
A gin sour with it’s frothy, snowy looking top is one of the best winter Christmas cocktails. Soft cherry and juniper gin notes are sweetened by the syrup and warmed by the zesty lemon.
Ingredients
60ml PUD PUD Cherry Gin
30ml Simple syrup or almond syrup
30ml Fresh squeezed lemon juice
White of half an egg or 15ml aquafaba
Ice for dilution
Maraschino cherries for garnish
Preparation
Add all ingredients except the ice to a cocktail shaker.Shake well for 20 seconds. Add the ice and shake for a further 20 seconds. Fine strain into a cocktail glass. The froth should settle at the top. Garnish with the cherries.
