Best Newcomer at Hertfordshire Life Food & Drinks Awards 2017

The Hertfordshire Life Food & Drink Awards, one of the biggest events in the Herts food and drink industry annual calendar, took place in the Old Palace at Hatfield House on Monday 24 July where the winners of the 12 categories were revealed. Having been open for less than a year, we were delighted to be in attendance, having been listed as finalists in both Best Newcomer and Best Product/Producer categories.

Sharing a table with other finalists from Tring – Beechwood Fine foods and the Kings Arms, we did not have long to wait to see if we would be awarded a coveted Food & Drink Award 2017 plate. Presented to us for Best Newcomer by Andrei Lussmann we headed to the stage, hand in hand, beaming like fools. As for the Best Product/Producer award, it was sadly not to be, but at least we were a finalist.
