Chilfest 2017

Chilfest 2017

Sometimes it’s best to get the experts in… a decision we wisely made having signed up to sell Campfire Gin at Chilfest 2017. Now in its 5th year, this annual music festival, held in Tring and usually featuring artists from the 1980s was set to play host to 9000 visitors with a line up that included Soul II Soul and OMD.

Now we’ve run a few bars but nothing on this scale so we pulled in the help of The Swig & Filly, a local, small but professional team who run bar services from a refurbished and very stylish looking horse box.

The first meeting was interesting with Pat, Alex and Curtis turning up on a 1600cc motorised trike (there was no room for Justine). They were also honest enough to announce that like us, they’d never tackled an event of this scale. So we were on a level playing field and that frankly worked for us!!

Planning, attention to detail and a commitment to service ensured that on the day, The Swig & Filly team served over 2600 shots of Campfire Gin, 400 litres of Fever Tree Tonic, 1200 orange garnishes and 1000 sprigs of rosemary.

Bring on Chilfest 2018.
