Honey Gin collaboration with George Street Canteen St Albans and Puddingstone Distillery

Honey gin collaboration with George Street Canteen, St Albans

At Puddingstone Distillery, in Tring, Hertfordshire, we’ve teamed up with the wonderful folks at George Street Canteen in St Albans to create a limited edition honey gin using honey from their own bee hives. The hives are situated in the café garden which has a stunning view of St Albans Cathedral.

Rather than simply add honey to an already distilled gin we’ve distilled the honey with eight other botanicals including juniper (of course!), elderflower, lime and rosehip to create a floral and crisp, London Dry gin. Serve with Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic and a slice of lime or sprig of fresh rosemary. Bottles of this honey gin are available from George Street Canteen – open Wednesday to Sunday, 9a George Street, St Albans AL3 4ER. We may have a few in the distillery shop as well so do enquire and we can set one aside for collection. Call us on 01442 502033.
