PUD PUD winter seasonal launch

Puddingstone Pudding Gin (PUD PUD for short) was launched on 10 November at the distillery’s Christmas Fayre and late night shopping evening held with P E Mead & Sons Farm Shop on whose site we are based. From 6pm to 9pm the distillery welcomed a host of visitors wanting to be the first to get their hands on our winter seasonal gin. Distilled from Hertfordshire made Christmas pudding with Macedonian juniper and sweet orange, PUD PUD is best served with a splash of Fever-Tree Indian Tonic Water to complement the spicy and fruity notes from the gin.

With sampling available inside the distillery, for those wanting a longer drink or to indulge in a warm Puddingstone Purl gin cocktail, The Swig & Filly cocktail bar was located outside next to a steam engine creating an atmospheric air to the evening.

The PUD PUD bottle label was designed by myself (Kate) and beautifully produced in Finland – copper and gold foiled the label is not paper but a thin veneer of cherrywood. This unique label adds an extra dimension to the latest addition to the Puddingstone range of gins.
