Here’s a few accommodation options to check out:

Glamping sites

Wingbury Farm Glamping

Wingbury Farm have three luxury en-suite pods situated on the edge of their family-run farm. The glamping pods are powered by solar panels and heat and hot water is provided by three ground-source heat pumps. Just over the county border from our Hertfordshire distillery this Buckinghamshire glamping site offers complete relaxation. Each pod has a brick BBQ, steel fire pit, a welcome pack with milk, juice, tea, coffee, fresh eggs and cereals and, in my opinion, the best thing – a wood-fired hot tub from which to watch the sun go down; with a Campfire G&T in hand of course!

Home Farm Glamping

Not our closest glamping site but a gorgeous site that is well worth considering. It is though one of London’s closest glamping sites so ideally positioned if you want to combine a visit to a countryside gin distillery and a visit to the capital. Set in 150 acres of private woodland, fields and lakes you can choose to stay in one of their beautiful yurts or bell tents. With a fire pit and wood supplied it’s the perfect location for opening a bottle of Campfire Gin and toasting marshmallows while gazing at the stars. Occasionally you might find us at Home Farm running a gin tasting or taking part in one of the many events they organise.

Campsites near Tring

Town Farm Camping

For camping a little closer to the home of Campfire Gin, Town Farm is an excellent option. Like Home Farm Glamping, Town Farm Camping is open from spring and throughout summer into early autumn. The site is at the foot of Ivinghoe Beacon – a prominent hill and landmark on the Ashridge Estate which is owned by the National Trust. The views towards Ivinghoe Beacon from the camp site are gorgeous and if you make it to the top of the hill the views back towards the camp site are equally stunning. You can pitch your own tent, rent a tent or even set up your campervan or caravan. Close to Whipsnade Zoo, Waddesdon Manor and the windmill at Pitstone (the oldest windmill in the country) there’s lot of different activities you can tack on to a Puddingstone Distillery visit and gin tasting experience.
