Bitter Union Cocktail Bitters

Handmade in Hampshire by Tom and Lucy Moore Bitter Union cocktail bitters add different flavours to your drink providing an aromatic and bitter twist. Made with all natural ingredients some of which are grown in their garden. Contain no added sugar.

No 1 Aromatic Bitters – sour cherry, cinnamon and clove with bitterness from gentian root. Use with Bitter Union Spiced Orange Bitters, Campfire Old Tom Gin, lime juice and sugar syrup to make an Old Tom Sawyer cocktail. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.

We also use the Bitter Union No 1 Aromatic Bitters and our Campfire Old Tom Gin in a cocktail called the Square Pear. Made with either alcoholic or non-alcoholic pear cider it’s a fragrant and sweet, fruity cocktail.

Lemon, Hop & Herbs Bitters – lemon, hops and herbs with a bitter kick from the artemisia plant. Try in a Bitter About Vesper cocktail. Other ingredients are Campfire London Dry Gin, Lillet Blanc and sugar syrup. Serve as a digestif with lemon shortbread for a special after dinner cocktail.

Another awesome after dinner cocktail is The Tally Man. A combination of our Campfire Cask Aged Gin, banana liqueur, Bitter Union Lemon, Hop & Herb Bitters, dark crème de cacao and an absinthe glass rinse!

Grapefruit & Basil Bitters – ruby grapefruit, basil, black pepper with bitterness from the artemisia plant.

Spiced Orange Bitters – orange, ginger and star anise with a bitter hit from cinchona bark. Add to an Ember Negroni cocktail for an extra kick of orange. You will also need Campfire Cask Aged Gin, Campari and Carpano Antica Formula Vermouth with some fresh orange peel for garnish.

Another digestif cocktail featuring cocktail bitters is our Red Admiral. It’s a rich combination of Campfire Navy Strength Gin, ruby port, clear apple juice, Bitter Union Spiced Orange bitters and a garnish of fresh ginger.
